I attended my first teacher training program about 5 years ago. And though I'm sure it may have produced other capable teachers, I did not feel that I left with the ability to be able to proficiently teach others. I never lost my desire to teach however, and so just bided my time until the right training program came along. Lahiri School of Yoga was that 'right' program for me. The one thing I wanted from this training was something I didn't receive from the last. Confidence. Lisa assured me that I would not leave without it & Lahiri surpassed all of my expectations! Lisa and her fellow teachers not only believe in what they're doing, they believe in YOU, and you are not taught only to do yoga or to be a yoga teacher. You are taught how to live yoga.

The curriculum at Lahiri School of Yoga provides a well-rounded yoga education because it incorporates the physical and spiritual aspects the practice. LSY opened my heart to the practice of yoga, inspiring strength, humility and creativity. After the 16 day intensive, I felt confident and ready to teach classes and thanks to Lisa and her program I did begin my teaching journey soon after the program. Thank you.
